Svetlana Mukbaniani
Svetlana is currently in training at John Jay College of Criminal Justice studying mental health counseling.
“I firmly believe therapy is a collaborative, goal-oriented journey deeply centered on the individual and their unique experiences. At the beginning of our work, I would like to establish clear goals with my clients to guide the therapeutic process and measure progress while remaining ready to adjust these goals as needed.
Central to my approach is the principle of meeting people where they are and respecting their current level of functioning. This entails leveraging your strengths to navigate existing issues and, by doing so, fostering a sense of empowerment and self-efficacy.
This means creating a space without judgment to feel safe and validated in your experience. I am committed to maintaining a trauma-informed approach that is genuinely empathetic and to ensuring that the therapy is attuned to each of your unique needs.”
