Relationship Issues Process Group
Do you find yourself falling into the same patterns repeatedly in your relationship? Are you looking for a place to explore why you behave the way you do with your partner? Do you want to improve your relationship with your partner in a meaningful way?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, group therapy might be for you.
We offer a closed process group focused on relationships at our practice.
Closed groups have the same members week to week, which allows you to get comfortable with each other and develop the trust that is needed for growth to happen. Process groups are an excellent way to explore how you handle interpersonal relationships, how you deal with emotions, and how your behavior impacts others.
The group format allows for you to give and receive feedback from other members, learn from everyone’s experience, and develop more flexible ways to approach difficult situations.
This group will be led by Jake Hart, LMSW, an experienced group therapist with a background in relational psychodynamic perspectives, along with DBT training in interpersonal effectiveness interventions. Jake believes in the power of utilizing the here-and-now during group sessions to better understand relationship patterns and dynamics while building on the opportunities for group members to connect with and support one another.
Whether you are looking into the group for yourself or you’re a therapist looking to refer one of your clients please email info@pacsnyc.com for more information.
